The Bhatra foundation wants to help people. It gives them the opportunity to earn a living by engaging them in diverse activities, offering people more than donations alone. (Donations do not work and are ephemeral). The foundation therefore seeks to give financial aid in a sustainable way. This approach tackles poverty at its core.

The Bathra foundation will sponsor ten primary and secondary school students each year. It will simultaneously add two new ones each other year as two old ones graduate.

Students will be selected in collaboration with school authorities according to their financial needs. Besides their socio-economic and academic skills will be carefully addressed. The foundation will intervene in cases of child-marriages, and speak to the parents and children about further help.
